If you would rather order and/or install the update through your Honda dealership, they can certainly assist you. After reading 40 pages of the thread I have decided to upgrade my firmware myself. Both websites provide detailed instructions on how to obtain the required information for each vehicle. The information you will need to order varies based on your vehicle model and year, but the most important information you will need is your vehicle model and year, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), device information, and/or version number. software will provide you with as much flexibility and range of vehicle. These updates are complimentary for the first 5 years of ownership. If you have one of the vehicles that support downloadable content, please visit the Garmin website. You can also access the website through the Honda Owner’s site if your vehicle with navigation is registered there. The costs of the updates can be found there.
